Barry Franklin, Owner and Tutor

As a native Idahoan I spend most of my free time out in the mountains and forests of the Cascades hiking and biking. My main focus in tutoring is Mathematics, though my background is in Literature and Journalism. I love to have fun and laugh during a session. I feel the most accomplished when a student feels comfortable and confident enough to smile over a problem from which they previously felt paralyzed. Through disciplined work, dedication to growth, and enjoyment of the process there is no limit to how far we can reach, what goals we can attain, or the depth of confidence we can cultivate.

Cathy Ball, Business Manager

Native to Western New York, passionate Buffalo Bills fan and Buffalo wing aficionado, I tutored math/science students in the Treasure Valley in the early 2000’s. After starting my own family, I focused on other career interests for several years. In 2017, Barry needed help expanding Infinite Potential Tutoring which was a perfect move for me. My great joys are recruiting and supporting tutoring talent, learning the unique educational stories of our students, and using this knowledge to develop synergic tutor/student matches.

Brian Wiggins, Math/Science Tutor

Computer Science Major at Boise State. I tutor physics and chemistry as well as math up to AP calculus. My favorite part of working with students is being able to see the results of avid studying and organization. I’ve lived in Idaho for most of my life and love being outside in our amazing state. My hobbies include skiing, fishing, hunting, and hanging out with my beloved cat, Stubbs.

Ashley Cullen, Math Tutor

I’m a junior math education major at Boise State, planning a career as a math educator post graduation. Tutoring has allowed me the opportunity not only to help students improve their knowledge and understanding of the “why” behind their studies, but it has also encouraged me in my pursuit of teaching. I’m originally from Colorado Springs but when my college search brought me to Boise State, Idaho became my second home.

Kevin Ketterling, Math/Science Tutor

Astrophysics and cosmology are my thing. Aspiring to be a professor of theoretical cosmology and astrophysics. Currently a Boise State student as well as a Coach and former college athlete. I enjoy being active and about, usually with my dog by my side. My strongest passion is teaching and helping others learn. While I advance my own knowledge, I can share what I’ve learned with others. Whether it be in academics or athletics, it’s difficult to think of things that are more fulfilling than when someone’s face lights up because they’ve understood or discovered something new. I feel so privileged and thankful to be a tutor.

Emily Hansen, Math/Science Tutor

I am a senior at Boise State University studying Biology and STEM education. After graduating, I plan to teach science at the high school level. I fell in love with biology while growing up in Idaho and experiencing all the wonder our state has to offer.

I have tutored with Infinite Potential for over two years. I enjoy tutoring because I want to help all students develop confidence in their academic abilities. I especially love being part of "aha!" moments.

When not in school or tutoring, I like to be outside. As a believer in life-long learning, I have taken on some new challenges this past year. This winter I learned how to ski, and this summer I learned how to white water raft!
